Give your rug some time.
To fix a wrinkle you can rent a carpet stretcher and a knee kicker for around 40 bucks and adjust its tooth depth to the depth of the pile of your carpet.
You can fix it yourself or call a professional to help you.
But don t worry to much.
Place the carpet stretcher onto your carpet and adjust its teeth until they are positioned to firmly grip the carpet s pile.
However your final outcome may depend on the reason why your carpet developed wrinkles in the first place.
Spread the rug on the floor and let it sit for about two days to see if it relaxes on its own.
Next remove the tack strips that hold your wall to wall carpet down then sink the stretcher s teeth into the portion of carpet that needs pulling.
Carpet buckling a k a wrinkling or stretching is the problem that your carpet suffers if you see wrinkles in your carpet.
And it can happen both in the middle of the room or close to the wall.
