Apply a few drops of laminate flooring glue on the back of the transition strip.
How to fix broken laminate flooring.
We will be using a wood wax to fill in.
Clean the flooring with the solvent and let it dry.
Then press a shallow layer into the chip.
Use a hammer and chisel or putty knife to remove baseboards or molding near the damaged boards.
Wipe the strip with a paper towel moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol to remove any dirt or oil on the surface.
Carefully pry away baseboards and molding from the wall and pry thresholds up from any doorways with a pry bar.
Then lift out the damaged board and replace it with a new one.

Next squeeze a dollop of laminate repair paste onto a scrap piece of flooring or a mixing board and mix it with a putty knife until it begins to dry.
One is to disassemble the floor down to the damaged board replace the board and reassemble.
Start at the side closest to the damaged board or boards.
If spacers were used between the wall and the board closest to it replace them with smaller spacers.
